Built by people who understand education inspection.

EDUINSPECT360 was founded with a single purpose: to replace the fragmented, paper-based inspection processes used by education authorities across the UK and internationally with a single, intelligent digital platform. We combine deep education sector experience with modern technology to serve the public education system.

Our mission

Inspections should drive improvement, not consume it.

Too much of the inspection process is spent on administration — scheduling, chasing evidence, writing and reformatting reports. EDUINSPECT360 exists to remove that burden so inspectors, school leaders, and education authorities can focus on what actually matters: understanding what is happening in schools and acting on it.

What we believe

Inspection data should be available in real time, not weeks after a visit. Frameworks should adapt to context, not the other way around. Reports should emerge from structured evidence — not from reformatting Word documents at midnight.

Who we build for

Local authority school improvement teams. Multi-Academy Trust executive teams. Regional inspection bodies. International education ministries. Anyone responsible for school quality at scale — in the UK and beyond.

How we work

We work in close partnership with education authorities during deployment — configuring the platform to your frameworks, training your team, and providing ongoing named account support. We are practitioners, not just developers.

Simon Bell

CEO & Founder, EDUINSPECT360 Limited
"I have spent my career at the intersection of education and technology — from working directly in schools to leading complex international inspection programmes. EDUINSPECT360 was born from a straightforward frustration: the tools available to inspection teams were not fit for purpose. We built the system we always needed."

Simon Bell brings a rare combination of frontline education experience and large-scale technology delivery to EDUINSPECT360. His career began in schools, giving him direct insight into the real pressures that teachers, school leaders, and local authority teams face — long before inspection software was ever part of the picture.

Simon's work in education technology grew significantly during his time at Mott MacDonald and Cambridge Education, one of the world's leading education consultancies operating across more than 50 countries. He worked on complex, multi-stakeholder education improvement programmes across the UK and internationally — including a substantial programme in Jamaica, where he contributed to national-scale education system reform, working alongside government ministries, school inspection bodies, and classroom practitioners to design and implement improvements that could function at scale.

Critically, Simon worked directly with Ofsted on inspection systems and inspection software delivered through Cambridge Education — gaining an unusually deep understanding of how inspection frameworks are designed, how inspectors actually work in the field, and where the friction points in the system consistently arise. That experience is embedded in every design decision behind EDUINSPECT360.

EDUINSPECT360 is the product of that accumulated knowledge: a platform built not by software developers who have read about inspection, but by a practitioner who has lived it — from the school gate to the national inspection framework and international programme delivery.

Responsible AI

We use AI. We do so responsibly.

EDUINSPECT360 uses artificial intelligence to reduce administrative burden and improve the quality of inspection evidence — but we are deliberate and transparent about how. AI is a tool in service of human judgement, not a replacement for it.

AI assists inspectors in structuring evidence, identifying patterns across school portfolios, and drafting report sections from structured field data. Every AI-generated output is reviewed, amended, and signed off by a qualified professional before publication. We do not use AI to make grading decisions or generate findings without human evidence.

Our AI features are designed to be explainable, auditable, and aligned to the UK Government's AI governance framework. Clients receive full transparency documentation on AI feature usage as part of their deployment package.

AI-assisted evidence structuring

Inspectors' field notes are intelligently structured against the relevant EIF evaluation areas — reducing post-visit organisation time and improving evidence quality without replacing inspector judgement.

Pattern recognition across portfolios

AI agents surface trends across an authority's school portfolio that would take hours to identify manually — flagging schools showing early warning indicators before they reach a critical point.

Automated report drafting

First-draft inspection reports are assembled from structured evidence — not invented by AI, but built from what inspectors actually recorded. The inspector reviews, edits, and approves every word.

Responsible AI governance

We maintain internal governance documentation aligned to the UK Government's AI assurance framework. Our approach balances innovation with accountability — every AI feature has a human checkpoint before it reaches a published output.
